1. The product is for use in non-public place only, it is not suitable for use in public (including but not limited to road, footpath, path and cycle track).
2. At present, using Electric Mobility Devices “EMDs” (for example, electric scooters and electric bicycles) on carriageways, footpaths or cycle tracks may commit an offence under the Road Traffic Ordinance, its subsidiary legislation and other relevant legislation.
3. The product is a collectible and is not for children's use. User must comply with the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374 of the Laws of Hong Kong, and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. The product is not tested by the Transportation Department in Hong Kong, therefore no relevant certification or licence will be issued. User of the product shall be at the User’s own risk.
5. Under section 4(8) of the Summary Offences Ordinance (Cap. 228), it is an offence if any person, in any public place, drives recklessly or negligently or at a speed or in a manner which is dangerous to the public.
6. Offences under the Road Traffic Ordinance and/or its subsidiary legislation may be committed by using an unregistered or unlicensed EMD on a road or private road (including footpaths). Other offences may also be committed.
7. It is a general policy of the Transport Department that such mobility devices would not be registered or licensed under the Road Traffic Ordinance. There is no third-party insurance coverage for victims involved in traffic accidents caused by the illegal usage of EMD. User of the product shall obtain insurance policy of third party risks at his own cost.
8. Please refer to the Operation Manual, which provides essential information on the safety and maintenance of the product. The Company recommends you to read the entire manual thoroughly before using the product.
9. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your purchase, possession, or use of the product.
10.The Company hereby disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, made to the customer or any other person, including, without limitation, any representation or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, of any product provided.
11.The Company does not provide legal advice, and any information provided herein or by our representatives should not be construed as such. You are encouraged to consult your own legal representative for the use of the product to protect your interest.
